I'm heading to the Earl of Leicester tonight and they seem to have a cracking range in bottles, just wondering if any local SA drinkers can tell me what they have on tap that they've tried lately?

(I am not driving so keen to quaff a few)

I had heard they had a good range of bottled beer... when I went there last (December '08'ish) I couldn't find any evidence of that in the bistro area. They have Coopers pale and sparkling on tap definitely, Aussie Cider and I think Beez Neez. You can't go there without having a massive schnitzel; and you can't leave until you finish it.

On their site they have a list of beers you have to drink to get on their beer legends list

But nothing on what they have on tap....

From memory, they have the usual commercialised suspects on tap, Coopers Pale Ale, etc., I wanted something dark from their taps last time I dropped in, no luck, went the bottle option instead.

If keen on something different, go the bottles IMO - some great variey, they had some great bottled stout there last time I was in.

i thought they had the brew boys ace of spades stout on tap

Reviving an old thread...

But the missus wants to go down there for dinner, shame their web page doesnt show their range of beers... except the Mikeller single hop IPA...

Im going to head there for a few hours before dinner so would like to know what they have...

Can anyone help?

Cheers
