Are they in the garden section? Couldn't find them at my (regional, outback hick town) bunnings.

Also checked the water, drainage, pumps and fittings aisles - no good....

Irigation or plumbing I think where the electric sump and transfer pumps are. Didn't take much notice as I was looking for something else.

Thanks Daz. I shall be getting 1 for sure.

Got myself one this morning, does anyone know what fittings where used for this set up?

Picked one up on Saturday in Aldi's Gympie, must have been 50 of them there, I'm sure there'll be some for under $10.00 in a week or so.

Ok dont get me one, I picked mine up this morning.

Looks like a good little unit, perfect for randallising!!!

Now to find some connectors....

I cannot tell you how good this place is for brewing gear.
They stock the following(all stainless):
- ball valves, all sorts off plumbing fittings- the full John guest range- cam locks- all sorts of thread reducers and separators
And once the bloke found it was for brewing he went above and beyond to help me.
And to boot it is cheap as ****.
Get amongst it, tell them you are a homebrewer for the same excellent service I got.

Just picked one up at Guildford Aldi. Still plenty available.

These things are going to be half price in a week or two.
I might even buy one for the tank water then. :p

Pick up mine this morning.

Now to source the fittings and she'll be good to go!

I got mine the other day too, the closest converter at bunnings was 1" to 1/2". I think I'll just source some brass 1" plugs and get the machinist at work to put a 1/4" thread in it :)

and i thought I was adding the hops early in the process by putting them through the grain mill, but inline wiht the water supply, Brilliant!

+1 powell industrial . ss 1 to 3/8 bush. jg straight adapter 3/8.

the provided filter is coarse and dodgy looking. if you get decent filter pads, maybe.

Do we know if these are food grade plastic?
I picked one up because of the cheap price but it has a pretty strong plastic smell.
They are advertised as garden/irrigation too not potable water.
