Hi Guys,
A mate of minewho runs a store told me he was having problems with one of his staff who continually uses the internet on the store PC instead of working. He asked me if there was anyway to block his access to internet explorer while still leaving the PC functional for the other staff. I guess this would mean having to password protect the IE executable file. His OS is XP, I've looked and not seen a way to do it, anyone have any ideas ?

PS. anyone who mentions linux will be lined up and shot.

cheers

Were using optenet at work which is a netnany or a content filter. I used this on our work computer to stop the amount viruses and adaware from people looking up pornography etc. If you pop into a local computer shop and tell them you want a net nanny to block internet access they should be able to sell you the software which will have an admin password. Also in your bios options change the boot up settings to boot only from the hard drive and not from the hard drive and a cd as they could possibly boot a fresh copy of linux off a cd allowing them to once again access the internet freely.

Cheers.
