BigW sell a 20L SS stockpot for $20. I bought one earlier this week and am quite happy with it although it has not been used yet. I will let you know how it goes.

I got one of those BigW Stockpots. It is very handy in my Brewhouse. Unfortunatley, I can not see how I could convert this to a pressure cooker. Sorry , I could not resist the smart alack remark.

Keep on Brewin'
Cheers...

It's quite easy, you just need some sticky tape for the lid, and a one-way valve fitted to blow into.

I have one of those and a pressure cooker. I can say the stock pot gets a run most brew days for misc tasks. Including cracking torrified wheat

Gee $70 for a SS pressure cooker is good!
I got one about a month ago for $120. Certainly worth the money if you're playing around with yeast culturing/slants/streaking etc

I ended up buying one of these babies. It is taller than the one I already had (or should I say the missus had) and a 250ml flask sits in it no problem. At Brandon Park the whole pallet sold out in a day. Must have been the Italian's buying them for making tomato sauce (one older lady dropped 4 in the shopping trolley).
