Guys,
Was reading in another forum that a brewer by the name of Barry Cranston brewer 66 batches for 2008 & it got me thinking how much I did, well the answer was a lowly 19 batches, how did you go?

Cheers

(edit it's already next year) 29 this past year......1 more than the previous year.

I was very surprised as all were kits in 2007 except my first AG, and all were AG in 2008, except 1 extract brew.... :icon_cheers:

im up to 35 or so batches not counting mead or cysers

15 (20L) quality batches (apart from one which was crap)

Been having a health resurgence and feel great.....

Off topic - but I noticed you recently brewed an antwerp ale. Assuming this is a Dekoninck clone, have you got a good recipe? I loved that beer while in Antwerp.

9 batches including two of cider according to my records.

I thought it was a lot more than that

I only got back into brewing at Easter and have 3 kits and 15 AG for the year.

WOW..thats a lot of beer.
When I kit and kilo'd (2006-2007) I probably brewed 8 x 20 litre batches a year. Now that I AG , due to the xtra time its down to 4 (if you count New Years Day 2009 as 2008).

Managed to brew 30 different batches over the course of 2008. Ranging from 25L-12L

Includes 1 KnK, 1 ginger beer, 2 ciders, 1 mead, 1 wierd blend, 23 partials, and one AG...yay for AG's! :icon_chickcheers:

Hit brew #50 on NYE so based on my usual 20L batches thats 1,000L ...crumbs where did it all go?!?!

I did tip out a few batches due to infection and just general crapness but I'd say that was about 5 in the total.

Planning to get the 1st two batches for 2009 down this coming weekend.

4 x Kit + bits
2 x Extract
7 x AG
22L batches

Plus 4 x Ginger Beer for the Mrs

Before going to AG.....43 weeks, 90 batches.
Since going AG in August....19 weeks, 28 batches. Six were doubles, so really 34 kegs all up.
Drink much???
This may be why we just bought 28 sacks of grain in one go.
PARTY ON GARTH :icon_chickcheers:

Cheers,
Bud

Forgot Cider....add another 12 kegs

48 brews (all AG)
On avg around 20 litres each so just under the 1000 litre mark again.

Already 120 litres into 2009. Maybe this year :p

In 2008 I did 4 kit beers and 11 all grain batches. Drank all my AG ones but still have a heap of the kit stubbies sitting in the shed... hmm, I wonder why.

11 Batches, mostly 20L. Just over half of what I managed last year. There was a dry July in there as well and still think I drank too much. Maybe I just need to take up a more physical hobby....nah...can't see that happening.

Did 10 since August (when I made the move to AG).

That would average out to 30 a year roughly, and as I brew in 40L batches that is about 1200L of beer..... And I never seem to have any on tap :S

Boy do I feel underpar... maybe 10 partials last year @23 L each.

First AG next weekend though...! cant wait!

Have an ale bubbling away at the moment too...
