17 x double batches (~42l finished volume) and 1 x double batch of mead.

........and I was trying to cut down!

15 AG batches, ranging from 20 to 23 litres.
That closely matches my average consumption of just 2 stubbies a day, allowing for the occasional visitors.

Guys,
Was reading in another forum that a brewer by the name of Barry Cranston brewer 66 batches for 2008 & it got me thinking how much I did, well the answer was a lowly 19 batches, how did you go?

Cheers

PAul

Gee Barry that is over 2000 longnecks bottles a year

5.5 longneck bottles a day .

Makes me feel so inadequate.

Pumpy :(

3 kits and bits, then I found AHB
4 Partial Mash
5 AG

Total 12 Batches all around 20-25L

38 x 20L batches

Broken down as -
4 x K+K
2 x Partial
32 x All Grain

Also
2 x 8L experiment batches

Only started brewing last year.... Does that mean i have an addiction problem? :icon_drunk:

41 AG brews at about 23L each I think that 10 or 12 of those were double batches, so about 30 brewdays, and one 15L FWK that was given to me by a mate. Luckily, I have some thirsty friends.
Just had my first brewday in nearly 3 weeks yesterday, so I have started off slow for 09, only 46L.
T.

48 brews (all AG)
On avg around 20 litres each so just under the 1000 litre mark again.

Already 120 litres into 2009. Maybe this year :p

Doc

mate theres only bloody 52 weeks in a year. you must brew every weekend!

Let me see... (consults Filemaker Pro Database)

I got my starter kit for Xmas last year, and have brewed the following since then.

6 X 21 litre Apfelwein (German Hard Cider)
2 X double extract batches
50 X sinlge Extract batches
4 X AG (just got started) These were double batches, that i split with a fellow brewer.

Total = 61 brews. or around 1300 litres

Sounds like a lot, but I do have 11 full kegs and around 100 full longnecks, so I have around 275 litres that has not been drunk.

20 AG batches in 2008

puts it just around the 500L mark + or - a couple of litres

Including a double batch brewed in Tallarook at rooks house during the 2008 swap (highlight brew of the year)

Dredging out the brewbook...I did 19 for certain with a possible 20th [non-dated entry] in early January 2008 that was infected. Looks like I've drunk all but 2 batches worth as well

Don't worry, most of the volume ends up in judges' glasses around the country ;)

9 x 25L batches = 225L
6 x 32L batches = 192L

So around 417 Litres... but the 6 x 32 Litre batches were split with my dad, so you can take 96L off it I guess?

However, I did work a 12 week stint on the commercial front. So on an average you can add 2 x 5500L brews a day, 5 shifts a week for 12 weeks. So another 660000L excluding RTD's, double batches, CIP/non brew days and extra brew days (which probally evens the score).

25 x 23L KnB, extract & partials... on to apartment carpark BIAB for 09

ED: that is since June, and one batch was a few litres of orange juice that went to water treatment and not via my kidneys... :icon_vomit:

I did 28 brews of 25 litres each. Thats about 700 litres.

28 20ishL AG. Couple of extract early in the year but they don't count.

I was going like a cut cat, i re-started HB after many years hiatus in October.
From then i bedded down 11 brews in 2008 the last one was bottled December 11th just before the outlaws came and camped.
The outlaws drink like fish in the desert so I snuck a brew into the fermenter on 30th December due to stockpiles depleting faster than Israeli munitions.
* I do have around 8 liters of Ginger Beer left but i don't count it as stockpile....
I have less than 80 Bottles left from the original 11 brews.
Popped a second brew in another fermenter on the 2nd of this year
so the total score is
2008= 11
2009= 2 brewing
