1469 Interesting News?

Any progress on this. Is it possible to get a thread going so people can show interst in getting 1469. That way we could email wyeast with some numbers.

and a few other ones as well - Wyeast 3726PC Farmhouse for a start.
All this waving magic yeasts in front of our faces then snatching them away, most unfair.

I can't easily get Whitelabs where I live but whilst browsing on their website I see that they also do the annual 'yeast shuffle smoke and mirrors' exercise just like Wyeast, with certain seasonal yeasts released for two months a year.

However I see that based on demand they do 'promote' the odd popular seasonal to a fulltime yeast. Wouldn't it be great if Wyeast could do the same with 1469. I was hoping that a retailer could take up the cause. If not maybe I could start a petition or something? Maybe we could just get an article going along the lines of the Australia's biggest brew day, then post a link to Wyeast?

Yes that was a bit before my AG days so I missed it. However seeing as they seem to release it towards the end of the year, why wait till next year - give em a nudge now why not.
