Hi guys, Just bought a packet of Safale US-05 but the packet is puffed up, like it's full of air. Has anyone else come across this before? Will the yeast be ok? It was the only one in the fridge at the LHBS, so I bought it anyway, but am just a little worried now I'm thinking more about it.. :huh:

I want to make kind of a fake lager or pilsener. Something with a lager style kit and hops, but with an ale yeast, due to the current QLD climate. Does anyone have any suggestions on kits/yeast/hops? Actually, could I first have hops suggestions, as I'll have to order them asap. I want to use...

Hi all, Do all hops go well together, or are there some combo's that shouldn't be used? I'm planning a toucan IPA and was going to just use Fuggles pellets, but thought I also have Cascade, Chinook and Amarillo in the freezer. Which of these would work ok with the Fuggles? Any? All?
