    Show Us Your Beer Engines

They are heavy 6-7kg....dunno if I'd post them home. CQ pump mechanism is integrated into the unit wheras the CO has the handle drive the pump via linkages. Don't know if that's the correct lingo but the CQ uses the handle to drive the pump internally as opposed to driving the pump through...

    Show Us Your Beer Engines

Gday Leahy I was in uk in June/July this year and bought a reconditioned angram CQ model delivered to inlaws in london for ~$230. Exchange rate took a dive since I bought it but even still, depending your budget, I'm of the belief if the manufacturer has rebuilt the unit it must be good...

    Sandgroper Friday Beers

Thanks all for a great evening on a balmy night and a great idea to try the Royal instead of the usual haunts. Great company, great beer and great location - pretty much great all round. Except for walking to the train station with a full bladder along the gurgling Claisebrook :P

3068 Vs Saf Dried Wheat Yeast

Top stuff Trent on the split batch. I don't wanna sound like a wowser.......but from my experience, the clove n banana flavours deminish when reusing wiezen yeast cakes. You did mention banana flavours in beer #2 so my theory is thrown out the window but it may be a case of the flavours...
