    Hook Norton Haymaker

You can get Hook Norton Haymaker 500ml bottles for $2.49 at Dan Murphy's. I thought it might be a mistake as a case of 12 costs $34.99 for some reason, but maybe they're just on clearance. I also got 10% off (seemed to come up on the till when the 6th one went through) so even better. Very...

    Cheap Boddingtons !

24x440ml Boddingtons cans (with the widgets inside) for $30 - Flyer on page 11 of today's Age. I think Dan Murphy's (within a certain radius) will price match if you have the coupon. Happy drinking! Jim (Also Corona 355ml bottles for $35)

    Free Bottles

Hi all A move to a smaller house necessitates getting rid of a lot of stubbies: 5x24 Carlton Draught 4x24 Cascade 4X24 VB 1x24 Coopers plus around 25 brown longnecks I'd prefer someone to take the lot in one go if possible. Pick up from Templestowe 3106 Thanks Jim

    Brewiser Wheat Beer

Hi all I had an impulse buy of this can a while ago - and then later regretted it after reading some negative reports on here (note to self - read up first, then buy!) Has anybody made a nice beer with this one? I'm beginning to adore hoppy beers so if anyone can recommend what hop additions...

    Bar World

There's a chain called Bar World which sells all beer & spirits paraphernalia - t-shirts, glasses etc. Anyhow the local one to my work in Werribee vic is closing down and selling off gear cheap. They are selling some American made beer kits (just add water & yeast) for $10 (down from $40) but...

    Adding Hop Pellets To Bottles

I am ready to bottle a tuocan Cascade lager kit (with 250g LDME) and was think about adding hops directly into the bottles for some extra flavour/aroma. Will this risk infection? If not is one pellet per stubbie ok? thanks jim

    Golden Harvest Tuocan Ideas

Safeway are clearing out stocks of Cascade Golden Harvest in my area and I bought a few tins on special. Although I couldn't find the sell by dates they were dusty and must have been there for a while. I'd like to use them quickly in case they go off. Any ideas for what hops/malt additions...

    Glass Bottles

Hi I've been bottling with both PET and glass bottles. The stubbies I can get my hands on are Coopers (from my own consumption!) Carlton draught & Cascade Light (from work). I just realised today that they all say not for refill on them at the bottom - presumably as they are quite light. I've...

    Light German Bock

Hi there I'm thinking of trying out this recipe from the Coopers site. Has anyone tried it and if so what was it like? Are there any simple additions/improvements you'd recommend? Thanks in advance Jim

    Coopers Stout

Hi - I'm thinking about making a Coopers Stout as I enjoy the occassional glass of something different (and it's on special at Safeway!). Is this a nice stout? Has anybody made any (easy) additions to improve it? Thanks in advance Jim
