To clarify, it's still for sale.

For sale: Andale Carlton three-tap font with fatlock adaptors. I've never had it flooded, but I gather that with some work it is floodable. It needs a new seal or two, which are available from Andale easily and cheaply. Looking for $100 plus postage.

My local Bunnings (Tuggeranong) weren't interested in ordering them in for me.

They'd be better if they weren't drilled and bunged. Do you know if they'll sell them "undrilled"?

If you're pumping hot water into your immersion chiller, then you're doing it wrong. Remember, the pump is pushing cold water into the immersion chiller, not pulling hot water out of it. Your immersion chiller recirculation pump should never see hot water.

Sounds like total China-bashing bollocks. There is no way that Bunnings would knowingly sell a product not-fit-for-purpose (and potentially downright dangerous), at a discount or otherwise.

That's interesting that you say that. I've always thought that I got clearer beer if I gelatined at the same time that I force carbonated. I always assumed that it was because the action of bubbling gas in through the beer-out post gave the beer and gelatine a really good mix. Your explanation...

I might be interested in one as well. Let me know their response.

This was why I never contemplated getting involved.

If the beer is coming through this tap, then i'm really not interested. I think I get what they were trying to achieve, but an odd choice of picture.
