Good choice with Zappa, Finners.

Recently saw his son, Dweezil, play Franks old songs in concert. Bloody awesome stuff, and he can play too. The freak (Steve Vai) was also part of the show, and had many a duel with Dweezil.
My ears always tend to ache after listening to the likes of Vai or Joe Satriani playing at a gig. Ridiculously amazing guitarists, but they tend to play alot of REALLY high notes!

Hey Duff,

Since you are obviously into metal, check out this link: .

I can pretty much play it myself now, although my guitar isn't as cool

PS: Jari rocks

IS that an old Malmsteen song ?

Have any of you guys been around long enough to have heard the duelling lead guitar break on Thin Lizzy's Emerald on the Jailbreak Album? best heard with the volume on max.

cheers

Emerald is a top song, my fave from the album.

How about Ted Nugent's "Stranglehold" ? I refer to the original studio version, not any live attempts at it. Pure shcmoooooking hot guitar work of similar era.

Step aside, ladies. Here's a cover of "Number of the Beast". These guys kinda make it their own ! The 2+ minute guitar & bass intro sucked me in..........

Here's some original Maiden: Those of an Equine-Lovin' persuasion should look away now.

God I love Pantera. Saw them live, right up against the barriers in front of the stage one night in the US. Got a couple of Dime's picks from the show.
