Following on from this topic, I regularly use YouTube to watch some cool guitar playing.

Post your favourite guitar playing YouTube in this thread.

To kick it off, this guy is unreal with his Master of Puppets solo.

Keen to see some more.

Cheers.

I playy my own guitar and find only some of these U-tube are helpful to find out how the song are actually played.
Most of the time the brain and finger doens't connect fast enough :(
Darn brewing, family and work getting in between for time practising the 6 string.

When I was Sydney recently I wandered down to Lowenbrau for lunch one Friday afternoon and passed a busker playing classical guitar. Australian guy, 25 years old. Amazing talent, ended up sitting there for a good hour with dozens of others.

His name is

(Just let it load for about 30 seconds)

I seen this one a while back and was in awe-never seen anyone make a uke do that. He closed an episode of Spicks and Specks with a shortened version of this not too long ago.

Aww :( Wish I'd seen it. Haven't had time to watch spicks and specks and can never tell when they stop showing repeats and when they're new ones, so I end up missing heaps of new ones

Hey Duff,

Since you are obviously into metal, check out this link: .

I can pretty much play it myself now, although my guitar isn't as cool

PS: Jari rocks

I am no guitar expert, but this is just crazy

http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=hb5QaCfm7bg

it takes a bit to get really going, but the 2nd half of it is just warp speed
Haha knew some would have to throw some Michaelangelo Batio in there.

Plenty of awesome metal shred out there, and I could paste shit all day in regards to it...but one of the more off the beaten track guitar piece I found a while back puts most shredders to shame!
Paganini's Caprice No 24

Astounds me how the little girls hands are big enough to play that guitar, yet along THAT good!

Ps. Check out the sweeps after the 7 min mark

Amazing what Japanese girls can do with a guitar.

Here's one playing Zakk's Farewell Ballard.

Linky

LOL Nice girl... she's got bloody armpit hair.
