So the outcome was that My Internet access has been flagged and will be monitored for this month.
After that, I lose it for a month. But being an Admin, it's not hard to get around.

I'm pretty sure it was my RSS feeder, so I have killed that which should put me in the clear

That reminds of the old 486 days when games like the original Leisure Suit Larry and police pursuit had a "Boss Key" you could press and it would bring up a graph display in case the boss walked in.

Edit : get over it budwiser - if your allocated work & you get it done in half the time for the same pay as your colleague ... there needs some incentive to do extra for same money ... some management get it, others dont.

Yes, and I have to say, if you worked for me....this would be historical data....you would be looking for work.

Now try to keep up here OK, I've tried to dumb it down for you, you might have to read it a couple of times to get the gist. if need be, print it out and take it to your wife or kids to explain.

As stated in a previous post, I had an RSS feed setup for AHB. This would poll AHB at regular intervals for any new content.
now lets say that only transfers 100kb via the proxy each time it polls. If its polling every 5min for new content, and my work PC is on 24\7, which it is due to the nature of my role, that will easily add up to a massive amount of data being transferred over the network.

So I don't have to be actively browsing the forum in order to rack up the data, in fact, my position and workload doesn't allow me to do so, however having an RSS feed allows me to quickly glance at any new threads that might appeal to me and open them in a browser for when I do have time.

Not the sharpest tool are you?...even still...a tool none the least.
