Will Gargling Mikkeller 1000ibu Cure Tonsilitis?

So my missus has tonsillitis, and I have a mikkeller 1000IBU.

If I gargle it, will it ward off any roaming tonsillitis germs?

If it wont work, I have a Brewdog/ Nogne-O/Mikkeller Black Tokyo Horizon I could try it with....

Any suggestions?
