Hi Guys,
Being pretty new to AG, I haven't really gained enough knowledge yet of the flavours different grains will impart. I was originally going to try making a pseudo pilsner with US05 (no temp control yet) and so I meant to pick up 6kg of pilsner malt but accidentally managed to take home 3kg of pils and 3kg of pale malt and I don't know what to make with it now.
So I have the following:
3kg Pils
3kg Pale
1kg Vienna
250g Carapils
And these hops:
100g Hersbrucker
100g Hallertauer
80g POR
Just wondered if anyone has an idea of what I could make. Can I still try to make the Pilsner and if so what proportions of these grain should I go for? Or should I just get some more pils and use the pale malt for an ale of some sort.
