Hi All,
Pretty new to home brewing and have just done the Wetpak APA. It was in the fermenter about 2 and a half weeks, so a little short. Is it normal for this one to be so cloudy? Also noticed quite a lot of bits in the wort, think it was the hops.
I also had a little bit of a funky flavour in there, maybe like when orange juice is starting to go off, but no tang. It did seem to mellow a bit a few days later, is this normal too? I think my boil may have been a bit weak, as the colour is quite pale/golden yet a lot of people say it comes out fairly dark after they've done this one.
I've bottled anyway to see how it comes out in about 3 or 4 weeks. I just used a half teaspoon of white sugar to prime the bottles.
Cheers.
