whats the recomender time to wait on a partial mash wheat before sampling?

Just cracked open the beez patella tendon and it tastes awesome, but a bit cloudy. been in the bottle less than a week, I just couldnt wait any more.

Wheat beer generally comes into it's prime fairly early, 2-3 weeks or so. Some of the cloudiness is probably coming from the wheat proteins in suspension and not just the yeast, so I wouldn't be too worried about waiting for it to clear before getting stuck in!

Sounds great, was this a honey wheat beer ala Matilda Bay's offering?

too late on waiting for it to clear.....i've got stuck in already!

not too sure on the matilda bay honey wheat, but im hosting the brew clubs brew day this weekend and going to brew another batch. will get a few bottles for the sampling of the style and compare with my efforts.

was thinking about finnings, but if you think it best not, I shall refrane for the time being

damn this is good..........could it be my best brew yet???

Got a recipe handy? I'm looking to pop a Partial on this w/e :)

Try this

1 wheat kit
wheat booster from HBS
400g yellowbox honey
10g saaz at 20 minutes
5g saaz at 5 minutes
5g saaz at flameout
5g green bullet at flameout

boil in about 5l, cool and add your fave wheat yeast.
