Using A Dishwasher Pump For Transfer.

Just wondering if anyone has used or has thought of using a dishwasher pump as their transfer pump. I am thinking of doing it as they are already able to handle hot water etc. Any thoughts.

I got on out of commercial dishwasher, big brass head on it.
I use it and have had no probolems.
