Just saw the new NSW RTA adds to warn people of the dangers of txt'ing and using mobile phones while driving...was a really brilliant add titled " Get your hand off it" clever use of really cheesy glam rock...

Who watches ads these days?

Given most responses so far have been ads from the 90's, I would say not many.

I watch SBS sometimes. That's about the only time I see ads, but then I've usually got my ipad on my lap and I tune out as soon as they come on.

I record almost everything and watch later so that I can fast forward through the ads. Pretty much only watch football live and networks aren't allowed to have ad breaks in the football.

On the "local" station here,Southern Cross Broadcasting there is a bloke who reads the classified ads,and he drives me nuts .
This individual puts an ahh on the end of damned near everything he says
Such as.. For more informationahh call John on 8682...... ahh, This Septemberaah is a fundraiserahh for the local Lions clubahh.
I'd like to sink my boot up this blokes arseahh.
