Trying to make a fermentation chamber

Hi all,
I just bought an Inkbird 308 temp controller. I would like to know how I go about using it with a fridge or freezer to maintain correct fermentation temps. Eg, if I want to keep it at 18degrees how do I do this? I live in SW WA.
Any hints would be most appreciated.

Well pretty straightforward - it has a heat and cool side. so if it's warm out the cool side goes to the fridge freezer at your set temp.
If it's cold out you plug in a heat strap or mat to the heat side to warm your ferment.

Is there a specific problem or you just setting up?
