Super High Gravity anyone?

When entering beers in a class that has several distinct styles, brew the one with the strongest flavour.
This is because if your milder beer is judged following a more tasty style then the judges' tastebuds and noses will be shot.

Example: don't enter an Irish Red 15A that will be judged against an Irish Export Stout 15C.

Happened to me, I was stewarding when I recognised, in passing that my own beer was being tasted at a table "Here we go, another Irish Red, not that we can taste the difference...".
