yeah, it will sink out into the trub. The bitterness will ease off as well.
 
I tend to find the hops have quite a bite both in aroma and taste in the wort and they do mellow out during the ferment and in conditioning.

I know what you mean, the wort often tastes like an angel crying on your tongue but the hops do subside a lot in the finished beer. It's a bit like coffee.. if they could make a coffee that tastes as good in the cup as the aroma of coffee when it being roasted and ground they would make billions overnight. :icon_drool2:
