So - been sugar washing for a while with the old T500 for ages with no issues and great outcomes.
I got the new T500 with the dual elements recently and had a go. I read that once you get up to 55 degrees you switch off an element and go from there as per normal.
I could not get this thing to even contemplate dripping until it it 65 degrees, thought 'back yerself in lad' and base it on drip speed to monitor quality. 70ish degrees was about the normal flow I'm used to and the stuff that was coming out smelt rank even after half a litre or so.
The wash process seemed to go fine.
Any thoughts on why the temp to start dripping was so high, whether both elements in the new T500 have to be on?
Appreciate any thoughts at all on this one.
Thanks heaps
