352g in a 19L batch of Imperial AIPA. Big hit of magnum for bittering and 225g of chinook in the last 20min. dry hopped with simcoe and more chinook. Was still hoppy after two years in the bottle! :icon_drunk:
 
I've got 80g Simcoe, 80g Amarillo, 80g Cascade, and around 30g Galaxy sitting in the freezer. Was planning on chucking them all into my next brew. Was looking at something around 30-40IBU @ the 60min addition, and the rest @ 15, 10, 5 and a dryhop.

As usual, it will be a "do what you feel" brewday.

Got some leftover Hallertaur too (40g)... Wasn't sure if they would "fit" or not. Not that I'm looking for any kind of balance. :ph34r:
 
I'd love to taste hallertaur and galaxy together as late hop additions. I think the spice would compliment the passionfruit really well, in a f##cked up kind of way.

Sounds silly, but that's what I'm aiming for. Not fkd up as in "you're just throwing money away" but fkd up as in "that's so crazy it just might work!"

My biggest so far is 101g in a 10lt batch (Columbus, Simcoe, Amarillo, Galaxy).

About 500g in an American IIPA. Rough details are as follows:

100g of Saaz and 25g of Styrian Goldings as First Wort Hops. (This mix smelled amazing - might have to try it for a Belgian ale)

I then hopbursted a 400g mixture of Amarillo, Chinook, Cascade and Simcoe at 30min, 20 min, 10 min, flame out and dry hop (each mixed addition totaled 80g).

It was a present for my brother so I just need him to hurry and ferment it and then get some bottles to me.

Edit: This is for a 19 litre batch.
 
I think this was my hoppiest beer - certainly took the longest to weigh up, as I carefully weighed every hop addition - 361 bloody weighings on Christmas Eve/morning.

It was amazingly drinkable from day one - the aroma hit you as it poured from the tap. Was not overly bitter despite the theoretical 400+ IBU's, I'd estimate in reallity nearer 100 IBU's.

Gets me thinking about hop utilisation.
 
In a 1083 wort? No way!
 
200g Chinese saaz in a second running beer after a belgian strong dark today at 1.102.

The second beer was around the 1.040 for 18L

just want to really test them out and im not afraid to chuck the beer if its bad.

The Belgian strong however is going to be a rippa, by the wort taste.
