Yep - no problem - 170x140xabout 100, plus SSR edit: heatsink at the back (at the moment +26mm ) (I'm assuming that is how preferences will come back).
Many thanks!

Hi Luis,

Not really - the power going in is taken by the power supply and the rest is wired by you. The sockets can handle whatever Amperage they are rated to. What Amps is a standard outlet in Brazil?
Lael, in Brazil is 10A, but for instance to me, I using a 4400w element (that at 220v is 20A, is the domestic/commercial limit in Brazil), than I made an extension cord (4mm triple wire) and plugin direct in my electrical panel using a 32A switch and sockets.

Thanks for the effort.

Rafinus, thanks for jumping in.

I'm in the middle of an apartment renovation and will try to upgrade one of the kitchen outlets to 220V.

Just a quick bump. If your name is on the list - please take a look at this post: http://aussiehomebrewer.com/topic/69155-bonjuino-and-mathos-controller-30/page-30#entry1212575 and answer the survey - 5 mins or so. (Don't do it twice if you've already done it!)

Thanks! :)

I'm interested in determining what people are thinking about power etc and some other questions so we can consider what to think about for the future. It would be helpful if you would take 5 mins to complete the survey here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1lgqp8P3oyTkVm8BecvnR-bo1WCLaPmSlr1_5XxUOqAM/viewform?usp=send_form

to indicate your preference for controller layout and to help us understand how you plan to use the controller.
Lael,

Survey completed, but basically happy to go with whichever way you think is best.

Just another bump - about 2/3rds have done the survey so far - nice work! If you are wondering what I am talking about - see my post above.

I love the work you're doing here and have put my name on the list.

I didn't include costs for the heatsink, the temp probe in my original calcs and I'm still waiting on the neutrik style power sockets to arrive, so once I have those and can draw up the box cut outs I can get prices on the box cutting.

I'm hesitant to give another ball park without having numbers to back it up. I'll see what I can do about getting numbers on the final pieces though. There is a ton of groundwork going on behind the scenes, just not a lot to report yet :)

I would Just like to say a big thank you Lael for all this hard work and to all the others that have been connected to this project. There is 60 units to be purchased and postage to be organised
already and the list is growing dally . That's just a feat in itself, plus all of the design work. Mate,I hope this turns into a marketable product for you. Once again thank you.

I'm sure there'll be a few hands on deck when it gets to packaging and posting. But Lael is making an enormous effort chasing down further options so guys can build the entire rig, more easily and at decent cost.
I don't think Lael is looking to market this, his reasons for going that extra mild are his but could include:

1. court ordered community service
2. A desire to improve on and expand the current controller and share it with like minded folk
3. He is suffering a similar affliction to that Yob has with his bulk buys (in this case I think we should each buy him a beer to help him improve his psychological outlook)

for mine I'm thinking 1 & 3 are most likely

To easy buddy.

And as others have said, good Hussle!!!!

Hi Guys,

Have any of you had any issues with the temperature reading repeating the last two characters after the decimal point (including the degrees Celsius symbols)?
ImageUploadedByAussie Home Brewer1408831136.420985.jpg

I'm still using mathos original code that Lael flashed onto the Arduino before he sent out the kit, and I've yet to flash the Ard Bir code to use the 20x4 screen.

Cheers

Bren
