for real... What was I thinking? lol. Honestly - It's kind of fun, and satisfying to see it come together. Nervous at first, but cool as it gets bigger. Fingers crossed that having a fully soldered board will result in less tears and angst for people as well!

Its a great idea and your doing a great job. I'm hoping that the original first edition of Matho's Controller becomes a collectors piece just like a vintage hand wired guitar effects pedal, or Apple's original motherboard and I can make a huge profit in a few years time :lol: :lol: :lol:

Ok, Some options for the control box layout:

Option 1: Power at the top - there will be 2 screws going down to secure the power supply.


Option 2: SSR's at the top - the top will have two rectangle cutouts and the heatsink will sit on the top of the box.


Option 3: Power on the left - 2 screws going through side of box, SSR's vertical on the right, heatsink at the back of the box.



Power connectors are the ones I already have. Waiting on the higher power ones to arrive.

I'm interested in determining what people are thinking about power etc and some other questions so we can consider what to think about for the future. The only thing that may need change is the 12v power supply (although this may be compatible), easily available on ebay. I'm sure Lael will chime in with a resolution if the current Power supply he is looking at won't work for you.

Not really - the power going in is taken by the power supply and the rest is wired by you. The sockets can handle whatever Amperage they are rated to. What Amps is a standard outlet in Brazil?

pretty much - you will need the other bits and pieces. the part you are signing up for is 'only' the controller.

Yep - no problem - 170x140xabout 100, plus SSR edit: heatsink at the back (at the moment +26mm ) (I'm assuming that is how preferences will come back).
