Hey guys,
Is this a Taylor keg? It says Firestone on it Melbourne Australia.
It's in pretty good condition. What's one of these things worth? I don't need it and I'm thinking about sticking it on eBay. Thanks in advance.

Worthless. I'll swing by and dispose of it for you.

$50-70 is usual for the racetracks. Seal kits run about $20. They take a different lid seal - and other seals - than the cornies. Looks like you have a silicone corny seal on there. Sometimes they'll fit, but the cornies seals tend to leak slowly on the racetrack kegs.

Thanks Mardoo
Hey, what are they called racetracks?

If I may hijack this thread, does anyone know where I can buy a racetrack style lid?

These guys stock most of the parts you need to rebuild racetrack kegs. If you don't see something there just ask them. Not cheap, but if you need 'em, you need 'em.

Honestly, at that price you'd be better off trying to find someone on here with one, or buy a pierced racetrack keg from someone here just for the lid.

I think some people like the firestone kegs because they supposedly very well made?
