I've been restoring an old font that someone gave to me, and I'm a bit stumped.
I got the other side working , but this side leaks under pressure.
If I look inside the bit with the spring, at the bottom is an o-ring that looks like it's stuffed, but bugger me if I can work out how to get to it!
anyone got any ideas how I can get this piece off to get to the o-ring?

Cheers

The very top should undo
squirt a bit of WD40/Inox/whatever in there let it soak in and then have a go at it with a spanner

It does undo, but in there is a c-clip that I just can't get off.
To get to it, I need to push down really hard on the tap to push the spring down and then somehow manage to get the c-clip off.
It won't budge. Any tips for easy removal of c-clips?

So, I did it! The c-clip did just slip off. It was really awkward and took a bit of effort, but in the end it just slipped off.
Now I've just got to find an o-ring the right size.
I thought I had one, but the ID is wrong and it appears to be critical.

Thanks for the advice guys.

Thanks @sp0rk, I think the E.K tap kit is the one I want. Just ordered 2.

lol, oops sorry I instinctively clicked on the model of tap I have...
