I moved down to Sydney from Brisbane a few weeks ago and I'm keen to get stuck into brewing again. I'm in the inner west and homebrew suppliers seem pretty few and far between. Can any locals enlighten me of the best way to go about getting supplies? I'm thinking of just continuing to get my grain and hops from craftbrewer but I'm not whether or not I can risk the yeast being out of temp control for that long?

Barleyman does very quick shipping, and is reasonably close.

Hop and Grain is in Marrickville. I haven't been to the new store, but one of the reasons to move was to increase the range, so they may have more stuff available now.

+1 for Barleyman

Depending on your location, also try Absolute Home Brew in St Marys, The Brew Shop in Peakhurst

I do:

Hop and grain for dry yeast and occasional bits and bobs coz its local
Absolute Homebrew once a year to stock up on 25kg sacks
Brew shop for brewing and fermenting supplies
Craftbrewer for wyeast and specialty grains
Yakima for bulk hops

Seems to work out best for me.
