I've never used Whitelabs (apart from San Diego Super Yeast) as it's not been available from my regular suppliers - Craftbrewer and the former MHB. However I got a few in from ESB recently for a change and looking forward to trying out the Aussie Ale and the latest lot of San Diego.

I'll certainly give the German Ale a whirl in due course as I'm sticking to ales over the summer and a clean ale yeast for faux lagers is always welcome.

Hmm, not gonna go the liquid yeast, starter combo until I know I'm not f@?$&"g up my beer with the basics, so am pitching generously with dried for now... I'm interested, has anyone tried safale 05? - it is billed as neutral... Is it neutral enough?
