yep, will give more body and you can use dry malt extract as well

are you going all grain, part grain or can kit

Kit and kilo is pretty much where I'm up to so far but figure more compound sugar would be better than dex and whit sugars...

Miles better.

Add 1kg of dried malt extract to you can of concentrate for extra body and flavour.

You can also use some specialty grains (crystal malt, chocolate malt, roast barley etc) and steep them for extra flavour as well. No harder than making a cuppa.
