I gave this a crack tonight. I think I'm a fan. Anyone else done this?

Been there done that, the Scratch sells beer milkshakes as well.

Made up some very nice Irish Red spiders a couple years back. The caramel malts worked well with the ice cream.
 
I tried it with an IPA, it was pretty disgusting
However I'd love to try it with my Choc Porter
 
Grand Ridge do a pretty tasty Sarsaparilla Stout - I reckon would make great spider.

prob as good as the ipa jelly I made once.
