It's a winner! I have done it several times with an 8‰Baltic Porter I Brewed, damn nice IMO

Made up some very nice Irish Red spiders a couple years back. The caramel malts worked well with the ice cream.

Grand Ridge do a pretty tasty Sarsaparilla Stout - I reckon would make great spider.

I saw on a menu somewhere 4 Pines Stout with expresso ice cream.
Sounded amazing but I was driving
