So, being the lazy bugger that I am, after brewing up my last brew (an MSB pale toucan with goldings) I left my test jar from which I took my OG reading sitting in the bathroom along with the fermenter.

Several days later, and looking at my test jar I can see that I've got myself a second beer fermenting away now, as it appear that a lager (or at least bottom fermenting) yeast has found it's way to the test jar. There is a small amount of krausen at the top, which appears to have doubled in the last day, and when I look closely I can see little bubbles of CO2 making their way up through the beer.

Being so lazy that I still have the hydrometer in the jar, I've decided to let it ferment out and see what happens. And who knows, I might even be game enough to taste some!

Mmmm wild yeasties!

If its good, keep the yeast for another wild yeast beer!

This has happened to me twice from OG samples without any yeast added, smelled OK too.

From the bathroom?

I'd be scared.
