Does anyone know how CO2 cylinders can be shipped? I keep seeing them "pickup only" on Ebay but it must be possible to ship them.

Assuming they're not empty of course, in which case Australia Post, etc, can handle them.

ANy thoughts?

It's no problem to ship them by Courier, although extra "Dangerous Goods" documentation is required. Aus Post won't touch a full cylinder. To avoid red tape, most sellers try avoid it and make the buyer do the collection.

when i got my deimen tank, empty they can be sent standard frieght, i got mine full with the dangerous goods tarrife, i think it was about $20-40 surcharge

I got my Diemen tank sent empty with the valve removed (2 parts), by standard post. I then filled it myself.
