Just thought Id give folks the heads up. Oz and James Drink to Britain tomorrow night SBS at 8pm (check your local guides). The info had this description about it....

Oz and James are in Burton-on-Trent, and James is particularly excited at being reunited with his home brew. Oz sets to work making his own beer, which is based on an old Elizabethan recipe. The intrepid pair set out to taste some of the world's most extreme beers and try their hands at being barmen for an evening at a pub in Stourbridge.

Also I just had a mate call me to say he caught the tail end of an add for the show and there was some mention of the worlds most expensive beer (350 pound per pint, or thereabouts). Not sure of any more details but should be worth a watch!

Cheers

Have been watching for a few weeks. Did some tours of Guinness, Newcastle Brown, some Scottish distilleries etc. They also had a craft brewer comp last week at a pub in Dublin, was quite funny. One of the hosts James is using a German homebrewing 'machine' to make his homebrew. See link below if you have a spare $3000.

There is a No. 2 now also.

I enjoyed this Oz and James series. A lot of silly challenges a la topgear but I suppose they need to create some drama to keep us interested. I was intrigued by the german brew machine James bought The Brumas http://www.homebrew.com.sg/products/Brumas-brochure.pdf

The series is a hell of a lot better than that pants world cup beer show with the two gits boozing across Africa.

I watched the series in Blighty...
Have they met the Brew Dog boys yet...?

As far as I could tell there were two episodes still to run ... but no sign of it on tonight's SBS schedule
I only saw the last two episodes and was quite enjoying it :(

The show that was on before it has finished and been replaced by a 1 hour show. They must think Oz and James are only good as a time-filler.
