I cant seem to find the topic on the Ross method.

The link shown here

Ross method

takes me to this page

Rioss method

Then if I click on the link that opens this page.

Ross method

I seem to be going around in circles.

No worries :)

"ross method" on google (in speech marks) gets quite a few hits too - probably some of the ones you linked to above - now including this one!

At least we'll lead them in through this thread - the internet is a giant mo'fo circle.

is that like the rhythm method?

Hmm might give this a method a go tomorrow with an amber ale I have cubed in my family fridge (which is affecting my popularity with the wife hehe).

Holy F*^k!

Dude, how big is your 'family fridge' that you can justify using it for conditioning a cube?

Jealous.....

I only had to remove one of 4 shelves to fit it, so I earnt some brownie points by giving the fridge a major clean out (ie chucked all out of date foods and storage containers/bowls cleaned). It's a side by side - the biggest we could find with three crispers (my OSD wife has to have fruit, veg, and salad all separated). The reason I've got a cube in there is because I only recently set up my keggerator, which was previously my lagering fridge and the main fermenting fridge is presently occupied!
