These are not suitable for Stout either.they are the wrong thread as Nitrogen is an inert gas for stout.

I have used this type of regulator on my Stout gas.

There is no special thread for Oxygen, only Medical Oxygen

Hi All

It is the nternal bits of the reg that determine what gasses they will work with. ie the materials in diaphram etc can be rubber or metal etc. So may be able to be used and the price is good if the connection can be changed.
The fitting on these is type 10 5/8" RH thread. The CO2 tanks we all use are Type 30 and completely different.

5/8" BSP RH Internal, 14 T.P.I.
Internal angled sealing face, thread I.D, 21.0mm
Gases: oxygen, helium, argon, non-flammable non-toxic mixtures

Just out of interest, thread type aside, why can't they be used on CO2?
