Looks very similar to the one i make. I add a small wheat addition.

Mash temp?

Like the look of your hop schedule, late additions a plenty!

I made an American mild recently, a bit of a paradox I know, and I must say I was very pleased. I used Nelson Sauvin and Cascade though and upped the IBU to 31. So I guess it was more American than mild.

Mashed pretty high. I was aiming for 70C but i hit 68C.

F.G. is 1012. Bottled it Monday night and I can't wait for it to carb up. The samples from the fermenter tasted great :icon_drool2:

As for the hopping, I got the idea from Ross. I think it was his Banana Amber recipe. I was looking at it thinking 'there's no bittering addition...how can you have no bittering addition'. It was one of those light-bulb moments. So much flavour and still the right bitterness. Gotta love it :D

Yep, late additions in this sort of beer do it for me.

I went with amarillo, cascade and nelson sauvin at FO (it was there so went in).

Never used Sauvin but I'm keen to give it a go. Thinking of pairing it up with some summer saaz (which i also haven't used) in a blonde ale.
