Matt's Kolsch Test

Brewer's Notes

This recipe was done to try and make a decent Kolsch and test the effects of using a particular style of yeast with a Kits and Bits recipe.


The generic LME - Light is actually a can of Morgans Blue Mountains Lager. Add to pot at 0mins to pasturise.

Whirlfloc added at 15mins.

Primary fermentation at 18C, Secondary at 15C. Bottle and lager at 5C for 3 weeks.
