Hi Guys,

So i've got a few things lying around but am having trouble finding/ coming up with a good recipe. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What I have around:

3.4 Kilos of Light DME

45g Cascade Pellets

55g Citra Pellets

85g Centennial Pellets

100g Horizon Pellets

Plenty of Challanger Pellets (aged so best for bittering)

US-05.

If you have any ideas or a recipe you think might suit, please let me know. Just did an IPA with Cascade,Citra and Centennial about 60IBU and 6.5% so probably looking for an pale ale of sorts.

Cheers,

Buy a can of Roasted Black LME,
steep in 50g of Black grain, 500g of crystal grain,
boil in say 2 kg of dme
use the Challenger and Citra for bittering, some of the Cascade for flavour and aroma,
dry hop with the rest of the Cascade.

Use the US-05 yeast. Brew it as cold as you dare with this yeast ( about 17 deg C possibly )

There you have a Black American IPA, otherwise known as a Cascadian Black.

A truly good beer style.
