Dunno about QLD but in NSW I've picked up many a bottle of local wine at farmers markets stalls such as Wingham markets, why should beer be any different?

nice one. Be good to get kicked out of a bar at 4pm because last drinks were just after lunch and I'm locked out of the next bar - head down to the markets and get a growler or 4.
