I note on the Grumpys site where they detail their method of Liquid Yeast Propergation they state to save about 400 ml's of the "yeast rich wort" in a 600 ml screw top bottle immediatly after pitching the packet into the 2 litre propergation wort and refridgerate until next time.

Is this a good procedure to "seal" and refidgerate a wort that hasn't even started to Ferment even though the refridgeration "might" slow down an Ale yeast but what about a lager yeats.

Sounds like something ready to explode when you open the fride in a couple of days time if you don't releave any pressure build up every day or so.

Wouldn't it be better to hold off bottling the "saver" for about 36 hours when you are pitching the remainder into the fermenter?
