postachios ?

anyone used postachios in a brew? ive seen one recipe where they made a kind of tea out of it and put in second stage ferment, im just wondering if its any good. :beer:

Postachios are pretty aggressive as they are Pistachios that have had the pis taken out of them.

Could be too oily and tend to destroy head, I'd guess.
 
From October 2012 issue of BYO:
"roast pistachio's with a propane blowtorch, steep in 3 cups of boiling water, freeze liquid and scrape off any fats that rise to the top. Thaw and add mixture to secondary"

Planning to do similar with macadamia's to a choc porter. mmmm macadamia choc porter....
