I've got one used it a few times then got a soda stream cylinder for party system use.
It worked ok but was a bit of a pain in the arse, having to top up every couple of pours.
Not a bad way to get your portable system up and running. I might start re-using mine when I get my half size keg just for ease of portability.

Cheers FROGMAN.

I bought one for portakeg duties. Haven't used it yet but I'm confident it will do the job. I was advised at purchase time that it was no good for carbonating kegs - just for dispensing.

Thanks guys. I've got a Supagas cylinder for carbonating and use at home, just wanted this for taking kegs to mates places etc. Rather than lugging the whole shebang around.
I found one the same on Craftbrewer along with some other goodies and grabbed them tonight. :D  :D

Here are the links in case any other clueless fool like myself wants to go portable:
Charger - http://craftbrewer.com.au/index.php?page=s...t&Itemid=29
Mini tap - http://craftbrewer.com.au/index.php?page=s...t&Itemid=29
Extra liquid disconnect - http://craftbrewer.com.au/index.php?page=s...t&Itemid=29

Throw those together with a short length of beer line, a soda bulb and a pre carbonated keg and you're ready to travel.
I'll report back here when I've done some thorough field tests. ;)

Kieren.
