Linz, I have had a Porkert mill for the last 12+ months and I think it works quite well for the price. It is not the perfect grain mill but it is cheap and very effective.

It has more of a tearing action than a crushing action but the husks are left mostly intact with innards nicely destroyed (depending on how fine you set it). If you have trouble with stuck sparges then you may have some grief but I have not had a problem yet and have it set too quite a fine setting.

Unless you want to fork out for something crazy like a crankestien I think these are great value.
