I made one recently when the bag I thought was pils turned out to not be :unsure:

90% Simpsons Golden Promise
10% Munich

FWH with Saaz to about 30 IBU

Mashed predominantly at 63oC

Wyeast Munich Lager

Very clean & tasty
 
which leads me to question the foundation of what characterises an ale malt vs a pilsen base... tks
 
Im different. I actually prefer pilsener malt for apa and ipa.

Really pushes those hops to the front.
