"perfumed" beer

Hi, I used to like little creatures until a few years ago when I thought the taste changed and the beer had a, what I describe as a, "perfume" after taste. I recently tried another craft brewery Pale ale from the tap and found the same taste. Is it just me or have others experienced this taste? Does this taste come from hops alone or do the brewers add refined hops essence or something? I try craft brews whenever I get the chance, nine times out of ten mines the winner at a fraction of the price.

maybe its to do with there C02 and the volumes of it? I dunno but I have had it before on tap beers in a pub but have the bottle verity from bottlo and dont get it so I think there CO2 volumes or something

Some hops can taste floral or perfume like. Many breweries (including LC) will change hop varieties, depending on availability, etc. Similar strains also vary a little between crips.
I'd guess it's a change in hopping that you are discerning.
