I don't normally use gelatin in my beers, but I really wanted to get my Sasion nice and clear.
So between juggling a ready to whinge baby in one arm and not really paying attention to the 'How to gelatin' wiki topic, I managed to use two regular spoons of gelatin rather than the more conventional two tea spoons.

Can anyone see a problem with this? I cant really see it affecting the taste but maby just clogging the dip tube in the keg.

Should I give it a quick high pressure blast through the tap before I let it sit and gas up?

Should I just forget all about it?

What is a regular spoon dessert spoon or table spoon? Too late now so I wouldn't worry too much you may get fairly fluffy bottoms at the base of your keg. The first few pours might be a bit manky just hope it does not gel up in there. I suppose if it does you can rack the beer off into another keg and leave the gunk behind.

maybe it will be so clear that it causes a black hole?

Wont be a problem as you should leave gelatin at least 2-3 days at cold temp (unless you are sucking all the gunk and yeast cake up when you siphon of)f. Some say that too much gelatin strips flavour..... but I have no experience with that

How cold is cold edddy? also when do you add gelatin? sorry lots of question only 1 more... What different types of methods are there to siphon?

Cheers Tim

you won't have any problems

Well - I spose a black hole in my fridge would be pretty cool, you know, for like showing people and rubbish disposal.

But this beer jelly could mean less time with the o'l mop, bucket & Handy Andy.

Beer flavoured lube-jelly is a hit with the Shielas too I hear
