not sure if it's a pc geek thing. i'm a regular OCAUer, i think overclocking is an indicator that one takes their hobbies seriously. and such people, were they to get into homebrewing, would be more likely to take it up a notch, in the same way overclocking is with computers... i've noticed OCAU is also a breeding ground for other serious hobbies like DSLR photography, cars, music etc..
